I started today right, well sort of. I forgot that cars and coffee was today until I woke up. I set my alarm for 9 a.m. just because I wanted to be up by then. The second I woke up I remembered, then in that moment, "omg cars and coffee is today". The thing I didn't know is that the Cars & Coffee started at 10 a.m. I though it ended at 10 a.m. So here I was in a huge hurry. I jumped right in the shower at 9:05 and was out and dried off by 9:09.
I got to downtown Birmingham as fast as I could (while driving safe). I decided to park on the other side of the city where there was parking just in case there wasn't parking close to the cars & coffee location. I parked at 9:20 and ended up running halfway because I wanted to see the cars for at least 30 minutes. I get there at 9:30 and only see one Porsche and a couple of guys standing in front of Darakjian Jewelers (one is Armen, the owner of the shop). I ask him where all the cars are at and he tells me it starts at 10, and we talk for a few minutes, then he offers me coffee, doughnuts, and bagels. I took a glass of coffee, and as I fill my cup of coffee, a white Lotus from the 80's pulls up. It looked like the one from James Bond, but about 10 years newer.
By 9:40 more and more exotic cars show up and even some muscle cars. Ranging all the way from a Mustang 302 all the way to a 2005 Ford GT 40. More and more cars start to arrive and by the time 10 hits, there are already no parking spots on the street for anyone to park. So many people kept circling around the street up to 10 times seeing if a spot would clear up. Some people were even told to move their car to make room for more special cars on the street. It was kinda funny and everyone was laughing because some people had to move their Corvette and even a Lamborghini to make room for another Ford GT.
By the time I left the turnout it was fucking SICK! (as you can see in the pictures) Even an old yellow GT 40 showed up, and the best part, it wasn't a replica, it was completely real! The car costs more than a Bugatti at $4,000,000!
Closing thoughts.
This was the first Cars & Coffee I was able to enjoy and as expected, I loved the turnout. From past Cars & Coffee in Birmingham I have seen pictures of LaFerraris parked on the street, sadly this time they weren't there, but the whole thing was amazing and super enjoyable if you love exotic cars.

30 Day Muscle Building Challenge.
Yesterday I started my 30 day muscle building challenge. I will be uploading a new video each and every day so you will be able to follow along with me on this challenge and build muscle as well.
To be honest I have already been building more muscle over the past month or 2 but I believe I have found a great way to gain muscle fast (naturally), and I wanted to put it into a challenge to see how fast I could grow muscle over 30 days.
I want to do this to not only gain muscle, but also to inspire you to take action and follow the challenge over the next 30 days yourself and gain as much muscle you can naturally in the next 30 days.
Over these 30 days I will be going to the gym every other day and on my off days I will be working out my abs to gain muscle in my core. In the videos I will be making I will show you some, if not all of what I am eating everyday, as well as all the workouts I am doing on that day as well so you can follow along and implement this into your routine as well.
This is just an experiment so I have no clue if it will work or not, but I feel this will be a fun challenge because I am someone who always has
trouble gaining muscle, and this 30 day muscle building challenge will make building muscle more of a game than just "trying to gain muscle every week"
If you will follow along, this is going to take dedication. You cannot half ass this and expect to gain that much muscle. Don't worry I am keeping this in mind as well for myself. By making this blog post I am forced to go through with it each and every single day for the next 30 days as well.
I really hope that you will be as committed as me or even more committed with this. I want to see you grow in life, and I know this will help you do that. So come along with me and lets dominate this shit!

Is Working Too Much Good Or Bad?
I have been struggling with finding the answer to the question,
"if working too much is a good thing or a bad thing".
I would read a book or watch a youtube of saying that
you should always be working, then the next book or
video would say to spend the "4 Hour Workweek" amount
of time on work.
Everyone would just contradict the other person and I would
just be all confused. Maybe you feel the same way? In this world
with social media it is easy to get everyones view on work ethic.
Gary vaynerchuk might tell you that you should be working
18 hour days, whereas Tim Ferriss might tell you to work
less but do the most important things in the short amount
of time you do work. Both have their good points and bad points.
All I can
share on this subject is my experience with work ethic and
where I see it being good and bad. I am no expert on this subject,
but I have seen different results so far in my life for both
working all day and working only a few hours a day.
In this blog post I will go over (in my opinion) the good
vs bad of working too much.
I will start off with the bad, because I believe this is the first
problem (almost) everyone faces in life in America.
So what can be bad about working many hours? I would
say it boils down to if you are working hard to make someone
else's dream come true or not. Most of us are and are conditioned to since childhood.
Many children say they want to be an astronaut, but a couple years
later they are told to be "realistic". This conditions the
child to go and be just like everyone else in the rat race,
get a normal job, work for a normal company, and so on.
That person never even tries to become an astronaut and work long
hours for that goal. Instead they do like everyone else and
work long hours to make someone else's goal come true.
And I get it, we all have to pay the bills. Even I am no exception.
I am working a job I don't like right now but I gotta pay the bills.
Your situation may be harder than mine or it may be easier.
However that shouldn't stop you from reaching toward your
goals at least a little bit each day. I really want to impress
upon you the contrast of working long hours doing something
you hate versus doing something you love. Which brings me
to the good side of working too much.
How can working too much possibly be good? Well what I
would say from my experience is that working too much
for someone else at a job you hate isn't the best way to work
too much. I don't want that for anyone. However if you
work a job you love, or work on your own business and
you love it, you can never get enough of it.
You will hate to go to sleep at night because you want to keep
expanding in your work, and you will never want to stop working.
Working 12-16 hours a day will feel like a walk in the park.
Compare this to working for someone else on something
you aren't passionate about and one hour can feel like a lifetime.
This blog wasn't made to shame you if you are working a "normal"
job, but rather as inspiration to find ways to get out of
that job and start your own business or get your job that
you love, whatever makes work feel like play!
A little background on me that should serve as inspiration
for you as well. Like I said earlier you probably have a
tougher life than I do, more bills to pay, maybe even a child
to take care of. And yes this can take up more time and
money, and may even mean you need to work more.
Here is my experience with this subject if you don't already know.
I currently work a job I don't like that much. I work part time so
its not like all my time is taken up there, thank God.
That being said it still does take up a good chunk of my time.
My work schedule kind of bounces around every week,
but I usually work afternoons, so that gives me time before work
and after work to work on my goals for a few hours. I also sometimes
work early in the morning, but that just means I have to
wake up 2-3 hours before work to work on the
goals I have set for myself, and then after work I can work
on whatever else I need to accomplish.
What does this mean for you? Look I understand everyone has bills to pay,
and if you already work 12 hours a day I know
it can be hard, for a short period of time (about a month)
I was working 55 hours a week. I still found time to
do at least one or 2 things everyday that I could work on
that were aimed towards my goals not someone else's.
You can do this too! I don't care how small it seems a small
step will soon become a staircase. My first recommendation
would be reading before bed for 15 minutes if you really
don't have time. When you read books written by high
level people, you will adopt their high level traits sooner or later,
and learn to value your time and energy a lot more.
You won't waste it on TV or video games as much
but instead on what truly matters to you.
A great book to get more into this is
"The 10x Rule by Grant Cardone".
Where you are right now it might seem impossible to get
out of that job you hate, I often feel this way as well,
but this is my fuel, my burning desire to push even harder.
I started this blog as a way to share my journey and struggles
in a way to help others. Right now I feel like I could write
forever because I am just sharing my thoughts and trying to
help the best I can. Getting out of being a salary slave
is such a big passion for me, that I could literally
keep writing more on this blog post all night.
When I first started writing it felt impossible. I thought no one
would read these posts, because my writing isn't the best
in the world. I would often times get C's and D's and even
sometimes fail writing assignments in English class because
my writing was so bad. And yes it was hard to set up a
website, it was hard and still is hard to come up with ideas
that are "good enough" to share with you. But I had to take
these steps in order to build this (my brand).
But anyways what does this mean for you? It means you
should be taking some sort of action each day, and slowing
building that action until you are able to work however
long you want on what you love, for
however long feels good to you. That could be a few
hours or 12-16 hours a day, just make sure however much you
work adds up with goals and what you want out of life.
If I can write and write on this subject even though I have been told
in the past that I am a bad writer, you can do whatever
it is you want to do as well, even if others say you aren't the best, you
still have the power to take action before you give up.
I know this was a long blog post compared to usual, and I went
off on a lot of side tangents. But what was said here is only
a small chunk of everything I can describe about this subject.
It is such a huge passion for me that, like I said,
I could talk endlessly about this subject.
If you want to see more in depth and better explained
version of this blog post, watch the video of mine below
where I share more on how working too much can benefit you!
Also be sure to get The 10x Rule by Grant Cardone where
he shares his wisdom, and goes way more in depth
than I do here in how to take action and totally change
your lief completely. (clicking this link
also helps me continue what I am doing).
Congratulations! You have taken the first step in changing
your life by reading this blog. To take your next step
and really transform, watch my video, and purchase The 10x Rule.

Why I Bought The Canon EOS T6 Premium Package.
Over the past few months I have been investing more in video
and camera equipment to improve my videos (and take better pictures
for my Instagram and blog posts). I have never had a "real"
camera before and was saving up for one that was nice but not over expensive.
Before purchasing this camera I was using my GoPro Hero 3+,
Nikon Coolpix s9400, and sometimes my iPhone 6 Plus. And yes
these all do shoot great video, that being said I still wanted to
step my video and picture game up a notch.
I probably used my GoPro the most for video, but I felt the
viewing experience for the viewer wasn't the best. Yes I can
shoot 1080 with 60 frames per second and even 4k, its
easy to walk around with, but the downside for the
viewer is that the fisheye lens makes it hard to watch
when I am just walking around and talking.
All this being said it came down to me wanting a new camera to
do better video, and take some better pictures. I decided
to purchase a used Canon T6 with the premium package which
came with a 75mm-300mm lens and a case to carry it in.
Brand new the camera with the premium package is $550, I got
it used for $300, and the best part is, the previous owner
used it only once, so this camera was practically brand new!
I did get the camera last month. The reason I got it for myself
was as a reward for making an extra $500 in less than
one month. (to read my blog on how I made an extra $500
in one month click here) So far I have figured out how to take
pretty good looking pictures during the day with it and alright
video, sometimes. I still have a lot of learning to do with the
video recording part and nighttime photos.
I would love to be able to take pictures of the night sky and have
them come out clear. This would be more of a hobby of mine
but something about the night sky intrigues me. Luckily this
camera can do that, however my skills are what is lacking and
I need to learn the camera more in this area.
Since I have purchased the camera my main goal was to
make videos using it. And in the last week the video quality
has gotten better while I'm using the camera.
At first I knew nothing about how
to adjust brightness at all and the videos were all
coming out super bright. Now my challenge
to adjust brightness at all and the videos were all
coming out super bright. Now my challenge
is figuring out how to get the focus perfect for videos.
I am having some videos coming out perfectly focussed and
some coming out grainy as can be. Even though it seems
like I am doing the same thing in every video some
come out different, and I don't know why?
Closing thoughts.
Overall the Canon T6 is a great camera for the price I paid.
I have been able to take really high quality photos with it,
way better than any photo I could take with my other cameras,
especially when I take nature photos,
or photos of exotic cars for my Instagram.
especially when I take nature photos,
or photos of exotic cars for my Instagram.
That being said I still have a lot more to figure out with it
while taking photos and making video. Every photo and
video I make, no matter how bad it comes out is an
opportunity for me to learn more about the camera.
Imagine how magnificent you photos could look with the Canon T6!
